Environmental assessment of Oil Exploration and Production has placed IEC scientists at the forefront of applied marine science for decades. Our sciences team has performed monitoring to document the fate and effects of discharges including drilling mud’s, produced waters and accidental oil spills for Shell Petroleum Development Company, Eastern and Western Divisions. Studies have been performed for Federal Ministry of Environment in Koko toxic waste dumpsite, Department of Petroleum Resources, Baroid Nigeria Limited and Intel Services Limited.
